Fleshlight Wins BoyAlley Sig Auction

September 6, 2006 – John “Boy Alley” Paul, who routinely posts to the message board as well as being CEO of gay affiliate program Alley Bucks sponsored an online auction to raise funds for the Free Speech Coalition.  Paul set up the auction in order to contribute to the Coalition’s important litigation efforts while providing winning bidders with valuable exposure for their company.

The auction was mentioned through several threads and involved hundreds of posts.  The winner of the bidding was Fleshlight Cash, who pledged $7,000 and won placement in John “Boy Alley” Paul’s sig.    The bidding war Fleshlight Cash participated in drove the price of the sig auction up tremendously.   Epic Cash matched this $7,000 donation, resulting in a total of $14,000 being donated to the Free Speech Coalition.

According to Paul, “The industry really came together to keep the buzz over this auction going.  We owe a special thank-you to industry leaders like Seymore Butts for help in promoting the auction.”

In an interview with X-Biz immediately following the auction, Paul stated, “The Free Speech Coalition is on the front lines of protecting our industry from a conservative administration.  Honestly, they’re protecting more than the adult industry – they’re protecting all Americans who enjoy freedoms of expression that are unmatched anywhere else in the world.”

Michelle L. Freridge, Executive Director of the Free Speech Coalition thanked John Paul, Seymore Butts, Fleshlight Cash, Epic Cash and others, stating, “The Free Speech Coalition is a non-profit trade organization who is holding the Government accountable for unconstitutional legislation by filing lawsuits where necessary.  The cost for this litigation is staggering.  Industry leadership like this online sig auction is to be commended.   Through creative fundraising such as this online auction, FSC is helped tremendously to continue our important and expensive efforts on behalf of the adult entertainment industry.”

Free Speech Coalition
is the national trade organization for the adult entertainment industry.  Its mission is to safeguard the industry from oppressive governmental regulation and to promote good business practices within the industry.
